A simple weekly planner that rolls your tasks forward

Today plus the next seven days on one card. No calendar clutter, just your tasks and to-dos.

Why I built it

For years I kept two 5x8 index cards on my desk: one for this week, one for next week, with a line for each day. Every task I didn't finish, I rewrote onto the next day or whenever I thought I'd get to it. Like everyone, I worked my priorities first and the rest rolled over, so I spent a lot of time rewriting. I built 8 Day View to do that for me: unfinished tasks roll forward automatically, you drag tasks to any day ahead, and you put each day in priority order by sliding tasks up and down.

How it works

Who it's for

People who like writing their tasks down, not scheduling them. If you plan on index cards, sticky notes or a paper planner, this will feel familiar.
